The Halfway Stage
In terms of rehearsals, we are arguably now at the halfway stage.
Each piece has had one main rehearsal so far, plus additional “lesser” rehearsals (such as looks at individual scenes where necessary), and one-on-ones, emails, research, the usual…
Personally, I am happy with where we are at, considering the type of evening we are putting on.
Perhaps we are more ready on “Circles” and on “Call on Me” than we are for “Wonder”, but this is what we had expected, as it is a longer piece; and also we had planned for this in advance, seeing as in the remaining week-and-a-bit before opening night we have more time put aside for “Wonder” than for the other two.
For “Circles” and “Call on Me” though, if we put them out in front of an audience, as they are now, I don’t think anyone would be at all embarrassed.
